I attended one CCE at Win Green in 2024. I had plans to attend a second, but my horse blew an abscess, poor timing.
I attended the course walk and explanation of rules, which was very helpful. I asked A LOT of questions, and there was a solution to every question I posed, which makes me confident that the CCE process has been well considered. My horse was very green at the time and the officials were very generous in allowing us to take a second un-judged round, which made a big difference in the quality of the day for my horse!

Overall, I have loved these events. I'm so impressed with how well thought-out the CCE competitions are. The structure is innovative enough to be interesting, but not so complex it's impossible to learn.

I went to 3 and loved them so much!! Each outing my mare’s confidence increased from the last outing! It was exactly the outings she needed after running into some issues at her first event this spring where she froze up leaving the start box and warm up area! I can’t wait to bring her back in 2025!!
